What is Kaneshin Pink Box?
Sourced from our home in Hokkaido, Kaneshin "Pink Box" Rishiri Bafun Uni is a summer-only treasure that most people outside the region never get to try. Kaneshin produces three signature Uni boxes: Black for Nemuro Bafun, White for Murasaki, and Pink for Rishiri Bafun. The Pink Box is the rarest of the three, available only during summer when Rishiri Island's mineral-rich waters produce Bafun Uni with bright color, dense sweetness, and a clean finish. It's graded Gokujo AAA — the highest standard we work with.
