What is Tosa Yama Ginger Ale?
A ginger ale from Tosa Yama in Kochi Prefecture, in production since 2010. The ginger is grown organically — from soil preparation through harvest — and used in volume, which is what gives the drink its forward heat and the slow warmth that follows in the throat. The Spicy version adds red chili peppers from Tosa Yama for a dryer finish.
The base is built on three local ingredients: organic ginger, pesticide-free Tosa Yama yuzu juice, and water from the Kurokawa headwaters (listed among Japan's 100 designated waters). No flavor extracts, no shortcuts.

How to enjoy
On its own: Chilled, straight from the bottle. The heat builds in the throat — drink slowly.
As a cocktail mixer: Pairs naturally with whiskey (Moscow Mule style), shochu, gin, or sake highball. The ginger and yuzu carry well against neutral spirits.
With food: Sits well next to grilled meats, fried foods, or rich dishes where the spicy ginger cuts through the fat.
Pairing notes — Whiskey, shochu, gin, sake highball, grilled meats, karaage, oily fish. The Spicy type reads well with food that needs lifting; for sipping alone, drink chilled and unhurried.
