What is Myoga?
Myoga is a uniquely Japanese herb from Tani Farm in Kochi — the region that produces over 90% of Japan's Myoga. Known for its refreshing aroma, slight spiciness, and minimal fibrous texture, Myoga is a beloved summer ingredient that adds a flavorful boost to a wide range of dishes. Its high water content and rich nutrients make it ideal for salads, sushi, cold tofu, somen noodles, and miso soup. Available from May through September.
