The wait is finally over! Seikogani season began on November 6th. Due to sustainability concerns, harvesting is restricted until the end of December, limiting imports!
Though small, it is dense with umami and delicious when served with kani-miso (innards). This crab's popularity is growing, so give it a try! Imports are still unpredictable in the early stage.
