Unagi is a beloved seasonal delicacy in Japan, especially enjoyed during the Day of the Eel (Doyo no Ushi no Hi). It’s commonly served as half a fillet over rice in a donburi bowl, offering a satisfying and energizing meal.

Each unagi is carefully selected by our expert buyers in Japan and shipped fresh—not pre-cooked—so you can enjoy it at its peak.

How to Cook
Preheat your oven or toaster oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the unagi in the oven and bake for 10 minutes, then flip and bake for another 10 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and the meat is tender and browned to your liking.

Serve the Unagi over steamed rice. Drizzle unagi sauce on the top.
