Meet Mr. Maeda: The Visionary Behind Jberry Group

Mr. Maeda, the representative of the Jberry Group, brings a wealth of experience in plant biotechnology and strawberry production. His career includes working in orchid cultivation, plant cloning, and biotechnology across several countries, including Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, and China. With over 20 years of experience in developing and cultivating premium plant varieties, Mr. Maeda’s expertise is evident in every aspect of the Jberry initiative.

  1. Lucian Orchid Co., Ltd. (Shiga): Specialized in Phalaenopsis orchids and cloned seedlings.
  2. Ekakarya Grahaha Flora (Indonesia): Provided technical guidance in plant biotechnology.
  3. Taimay Co., Ltd. (Osaka and China): Focused on cloned seedlings for ornamental plants, wasabi, strawberries, and more.
  4. Dasada Flower (Thailand): Involved in production, cloning, and export of various plants.
  5. Maeda Strawberry Research Institute (Nara): Established in 2012 and continues to lead innovation in strawberry production.
  6. Agritech Plus Co., Ltd.: Founded in 2022, focusing on advanced agricultural technology.

  • Developed the “Pearl White” and “Yukibotan (Pearl Princess)” white strawberry varieties.
